In the following presentation I prepared a brief exposition of David Smith and Susan Felch’s Teaching and Christian Imagination, specifically the section that deals with the journey/pilgrimage metaphor.

IMAGINATION opens up possibilities. For that reason, it can surely lead us astray, constraining us to live within a false picture of things. But our ability to imagine things is often also essential to our ability to see things the way they really are and the way the could and should be (Smith 2016, p. 4).
